Where wasp nests turn up
Wasps build nests under eaves and soffits, in sheds, in hedges and shrubs, inside wall voids and in the ground. Activity tends to build through the summer as the colony grows.
A steady stream of wasps flying in and out of one spot usually means there’s a nest there.
Please don’t try to knock down or seal an active nest yourself. Blocking an entrance can push wasps somewhere you don’t want them, including inside the house.
